Individual Psychotherapy
Social influence and external judgment can have a big impact on our lives. I love supporting people who are starting to question the roles theyāve been playing.
Oftentimes, this can feel like a spiral. Difficult to slow down or escape from. Therapy can help you find your path out of this spiral and towards your chosen goals.
Therapy with Me
I don't believe there's one "right" way to do therapy.
Sometimes you need practical strategies to help you get through the week. Sometimes you need to understand why the same patterns keep showing up. Sometimes you need someone to sit with you while you untangle a knot you've been carrying for years.
We'll decide together what each session calls for.
I bring warmth, curiosity, acceptance, and a healthy amount of honesty into the room. I also believe therapy should make space for laughter, creativity, and the full range of human emotion, including anger. In fact, I often think anger has something important to teach us.

Looking back on past experiences, relationships, and patterns can bring enlightening insight into who we are today. When we can question our past with curiosity, connecting the dots can help to answer āwhyā and increase feelings of autonomy and personal power.

Sometimes years of anxiety and stress can lead to frequent fight-or-flight states we are so used to, it doesnāt faze us. Through using evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, we can bring awareness of our current state and alleviate physical and mental symptoms of stress.

Putting language to emotions and experiences can be incredibly difficult, especially if past environments didnāt provide opportunity or safety to do so. Language may also limit our capacity to truly communicate the impact we feel. Sometimes words cannot fully describe our experiences. Nonverbal processes and using imagery can allow us to explore our experiencesā intensities. How deep something feels can be described visually with line, texture, saturation, and symbols. The way we create may also provide catharsis, insight, and validation.
I see therapy as a conversation, not a formula.
You'll bring your experiences, questions, frustrations, and hopes. I'll bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, and over 15 years of clinical experience. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, what's asking to change, and what it looks like to build a life that feels more like your own.
Some sessions are practical. Some are reflective. Some involve art. Most are a little of each.
